Internet software startup seeks a senior-level mod_perl engineer/architect. Responsibilities include development, maintenance and expansion of a multitier mp2-based software product.
Desired skills and responsibilities include: - 5+ years experience with Perl for Internet/web applications - actual work experience with mod_perl handler/filter architectures - 5+ years experience with Unix/Linux OS server admin and shell scripting - SQL design, optimization and peformance tuning - thorough understanding of HTTP and TCP/IP - software lifecycle/revision/configuration management Will consider consultant or part-timer with intention to turn into full-time within 3 months.
