Send a 'HTTP/1.0 401 Unauthorized' header.
This will flush the browser and force it to ask the user for
username/password again.
Not the most secure way, but it works. Try tying it to a 'logoff'
button.

last time I saw this in another mailing list, it turned out that apache
needed an upgrade and php a downgrade or vice a versa due to one at least
shipping a buggy imap.

We are running a brand new server using Red Hat Linux 6.1 and Apache with
SSL. Everything is up and appears to be working correctly. The problem I
can't seem to find an answer to is, how do I log a user off?
When our secure application starts up you go through an authentication
process and t

Hello,
In general, I use Netscape Communicator 4.51.
My website works very well in no-secure and secure mode.
But, when I try with IE4.5 (and 5.0), I can't connect on my WO's application
in secure mode.
Error Message:

I would like a Verisign's certificate for server.
In csr's creating, I'm not sure of the parameter : Common Name.
My domain is : macinshop.be
and my hostname is : secure
I don't know if I must set CommonName=macinshop.be OR
CommonName=secure.macinshop.be ?

The trick now is just to create a link and send the .crt file to the
client. (This only works for Netscape. For MSIE, you need to send a .der
file that contains the same information as the .crt, in a different
encoding.)

hi all,
we use Apache/1.3.9, mod_ssl/2.4.10, OpenSSL/0.9.4 with a new global server id

further we use the actual intermediate which verisign provides at it's website.

Hi,
this is a bit more related to apache itself, but I dare to
subscribe there :) And anyone w/o mod_ssl won't need/use
this subject anyway, so:
apache has a mod_rewrite, and you can do nifty stuff based on
appropriate RewriteConds. Looking into doc from it, I can

It seems that during the normal SSL handshake the client certificate
will be sent to the server unencrypted.
My question: is there some way to make the browsers send the client

It seems that this happens if there is

Hi
Why do I get a "SSL Handshake interupted by system".? The computer that
causes this error has a ip address of 10.3.0.192 and goes through a proxy
10.2.0.25 and again through a proxy 160.124.44.207. Thus tha actual packed
arriving at the destination should have a source ip of 160.124.44.207.
