Anyone seen this with mod_ssl 2.6.5 and apache 1.3.12? Web server non-responsive, check the box and one httpd process is maxing out a CPU. Attach using gdb and it seems to be stuck in ssl_scache_dbm_status. Oh, and the ssl_scache.pag seems quite large too. cheers, Barry ps forgive the .sig polic

As an aside though, you could probably use the http://... redirectors already suggested in a different thread to redirect to separate https vhosts running on different ports on the same ip that both www.mydomain.com and www.myotherdomain.com resolve to. cheers, Barry ***

Datapoint - same deal here. Solaris 2.5.1 running on Ultra-2. Installed from source. Only comments: (a) I think Dana has a typo in the stack trace - between SSL_CTX_ctrl and ssl_init_Module should be ssl_init_ConfigureServer; (b) It's not mod_perl (we don't have it installed); (c) apache 1.3.12,

You have two distinct issues: 1) the warning about the wildcard cert. It's a warning, not the end of the world. (Admittedly, recognising that the hostname matches the wildcard would be preferable); 2) the issue with restarts: search the mailing list, especially if you have mod_ssl statically linke
