Hi List,
I just joined the list and this is my first attempt to install the mod_SSL.
I downloaded mod_ssl-2.7.1-1.3.14 from the web site and was reading the
instructions
and it mentions nothing about OSX but only Unix and Windows. Do I have the
correct version?
Is it pretty easy to install? We c

I'm just now beginning to install mod_ssl and I'm following the Install that
came with the
mod_ssl-2.7.1-1.3.14. Based on the Install file I downloaded:
openssl-0.9.6
perl-5.6.0
I'm currently running OSX 1.2 with Apache (1.3.9?? 1.3.14?? depending on
what I read on the OSX or Apple's site).

I've already installed openssl and that worked great. I'm assuming that the

Hi list,
I've been struggling with this for awhile and feel like I haven't got much
farther.
I have mod_ssl2.4.10-1.3.9 and openssl-0.9.5a and attempting to install them
with
Apache 1.3.9 on a OSX Server 1.2.
Openssl seems to work fine. I do make test and everything is ok.
I'm doing the follow
od_ssl 2.4.10 and use that.

I'm currently running WebStar w/SSL and plan to move my existing
certificates. They currently require a password during the setup.
How is this password entered during the "make certificate" when setting up
the existing certificates and/or is it needed?
Thanks,
Gavin
