Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do when you
receive this error.
Sorry for providing a lack of information, I'm just very
busy at work now, right now, session cache is disabled.
Server Version: Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) DAV/0.9.9 mod_fastcgi/2.2.2

If you haven't done so already, try to turn off the DBM
session cache in httpd.conf and use shared memory instead.
SSLSessionCache shm:/var/run/ssl_scache(512000)
#SSLSessionCache dbm:/var/run/ssl_scache
/magnus

It may be linked into Apache because of PHP, but it then certainly isn't
enabled for mod_ssl, i.e. Apache wasn't compiled with -DEAPI_MM. Else MM would
be available to mod_ssl.

Performance improvements by up to 100 times for 2nd
and follwoing connections. Of course this speedup
was messaured with openssl s_time utility only so
in real lief (a real browser) it would be less.
Jeff,
I am trying to solve SSL accessed by IE, and am compiling up Apache 1.3.9
with mod_ssl and openssl 0.9.4. Could you tell me where to get the MM
library you refer to, or is it OS-specific? I use Digital Unix 4.0D.
