This module is the only one available that provides a Perlish
interface to the Global Names Resolver. This web service is a very
useful tool for Bioscientists, as it can be used for scientific name
validation, according to a variety of sources (88 of them
currently). Essentially, using this module, a bioinformatician can
automate a taxonomy resolving process, according to the data sources
and options of their choice.
The name of the module was decided based on feedback received from
the Module Authors mailing list.
