Hi Jennie,
Just go back to Java 1.5. I tried adding 1.6 support (in the java_1-6
branch or something), but that was not trivial.
I plan on doin

Hi Stefan,
I have just tried to rebuild de modules in a really very clean way, i.e.,
in a new shell, check out all modules from CVS and then bootstrap,
configure, make...
The outputs of your command are:
[andorea:/ufs/zhang/dev/clients] $ cvs -q update -d -P -A | grep -v '^\? '
[andorea:/ufs/zhan

and likewise for buildtools, MonetDB, MonetDB4, etc --- *all* your sources
need to be up-to-date ..
Jennie,
please run
cvs -q update -d -P -A | grep -v '^\? '
in your clients source directory, and send me the output.

Hi Stefan,
I'm quite sure the source is up-to-date => I threw away the 'src' dir of
'clients' and check it out anew. But you don't have the same problem?

Hi all,
Compiling JDBC still suffers from some errors. Maybe more checkins need
to be undone?

This is totally unrelated, so please start a new thread for it next time.
Thanks.

I was too quick with my response: sourceforge is not cooperating. Try
again as soon as you see my checkin message.

I have another problem. I did the same and checked all modules out (@ 16:45) +
bootstrap + configure but I got an error in pathfinder/xrpc:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I. -I/usr/local/flokstra/include/MonetDB
-I/usr/local/flokstra/include/MonetDB/common
-I/usr/local/flokstra/include/Mon
Please try again.

Hi all,
After having checked out the latest commit from the CURRENT branch,
rebuild (bootstrap, configure, make install) module "clients" failed
with some errors on JDBC (see attachment).
Does anyone know what is wrong here?

Dear developers
I thought M4 was dead, but it seems I am wrong.
I update my background(buildtools, clients, MonetDB) and everything
compiles. However, M4 compilation gave this error:
tDB/gdk -I../../monet
-I/ufs/goncalve/MonetDB/MonetDB4/src/modules/plain/../../monet
-DLIBSTREAMS -Wall -Wext

It seems the machine only has ip-v6 setup, which we do not support.

Hi All,
I have a very strange problem running MapiClient on a RedHat system at the UVA
which is not a bug I think. Problem is the gethostbyname() call within Mapi
is not working. The Mserver started without problems but when I try to run
Mapi:
bash-3.1$ MapiClient -lx
MAPI = [EMAIL PROTECTED
Jan,
I suppose your system is Fedora Core 6, right?
(see `grep . /etc/redhat-release /etc/fedora-release`)
What do the following do/say?
grep localhost /etc/hosts
host localhost
host
MapiClient -lx -h

since Apr 13, i.e., since/sfter/due to changes made on Apr 12 ...

Dear developers,
I have several changes to commit. Due the size of the commit I decide to
compile with all optimizations on:
--enable-strict --enable-assert --enable-optimize
I am getting some problems in bpm.mx file
Some variables were not initialized.
I can see that the last one user to appl
