I use $MONIT_SERVICE and $MONIT_EVENT only.
The first step is I try to get the sys_id based on the resource name
($MONIT_SERVICE), then I update the table field ($MONIT_EVENT).
The used $MONIT_SERVICE names are unique, this is the reason I can use
the names.

We would like to use monit's filesystem check on CentOS 7, but
unfortunately it does not send any alert email.
Here is an example from monitrc what works on Ubuntu:
check filesystem root_fs with path /
if space usage > 80% for 1 times within 3 cycles then alert
