User [EMAIL PROTECTED] added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=362036#c1 Summary: Mono 1.2.6 crashes with Segmentation fault Product: Mono: Class Libraries Version: 1.2.6 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: CORLIB AssignedTo: mono-bugs@lists.ximian.com ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] QAContact: mono-bugs@lists.ximian.com Found By: --- Description of Problem: Mono crashes with "Segmentation fault" message when trying to run assemblies compiled by Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 C# compiler. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Unarchive enclosed 'bug-reproduce.tar.gz'. There will be 4 files: a) ShiftReduceParser.dll - this is a third-party DLL, which comes with GPPG/GPLEX tools (http://plas.fit.qut.edu.au/gppg/). There are no sources for this library. b) pcsc.exe - Parallel C# compiler (this is a managed library, compiled by MS Visual Studio 2005). Full source code is available here: http://www.parallelcsharp.com/solution/ParallelCSharp.zip c) ParallelCSharp.AST.dll - part of Parallel C# compiler (this is also a managed library, compiled by MS Visual Studio 2005). The source code is available in the same archive as pcsc.exe d) test01.pcs - This is a simple test file which we'll try to compile by pcsc.exe. 2. Run command mono pcsc.exe test01.pcs Actual Results: pcsc.exe halts with "Segmentation fault" message Expected Results: On Windows it works fine. It should generate test01.cs and then call native gmcs compiler and generate test01.exe file How often does this happen? Always.
