Could someone please provide me the instruction to install Mono on
Solaris 9(SPARC). As I am able to download the package
(mono-1.2.4_4.sunos8.novell.sparc.pkg.gz), but some how our system team
was not identify the compiler file.

First, decompress the file, thats what the .gz extension
