xap is a Silverlight 2 thing (as far as i know)... I don't think Mono supports
that yet. (It on the roadmap for later this year)
I could be wrong though...

That would be a great idea. I use MonoDevelop primarily on Linux, but I will
also have to release Mac versions of our software. Currently, Mac monodevelop
is a bit flaky. Nothing major (beyond what was intentionally removed), but it
is very annoying at times.

Are the GTK / winforms updates included in mono 2.6 preview 1 for Mac? I ask
because we still have significant erratic behavior with gui apps on Mac with
2.6, but not on linux or windows.

The release notes say that debugging works on OSX now when logged in as root.
I just installed mono 2.4.3 and the latest monodevelop 2.2 rc on OSX 10.6.2.
I enabled the root account, then logged in as root.
I then created a console app in monodevelop and put in breakpoints.

I have a little different scenario, but My webservice is setup like this:
<%@ WebService Language="C#" Class="Company.WebServices.Stuff.StuffService" %>
My bin folder contains the dlls for the "StuffService" and other associated
libraries.
