I agree with you; however, I am less confident that in 5-10 years Pascal will
still be what it is
today. I would wager that Pascal is slowly loosing mindshare.

choose the best language/framework for the job.
With the latest IDE, Delphi2005, I can work in native Delphi.win32, C#
and Delphi.net in the same project group.
