Hi Gonzalo
thanks for the quick reply. I now changed it according to your template
but it still does not work. Although, it looks better now (i.e.
mod-mono-server.exe is now started) I still dont get a reply. It might be
important to mention that I am using apache2.
Here is my current config
Server.Transfer is supposed to accept either a single string parameter,
or a string and a boolean value.
When I attempt to pass a single string parameter Server .Transfer
crashes with the following message.
"Server.Transfer Cannot cast from source type to destination type."

Great to hear that SWF works for you. What was the font uglyness? And what
are the details of the fix? Just asking because some other SWF users might
find it useful!

Could you get a text case for this and file a bug report?

I log any errors in my web application to a text file. I have noticed
that under Mono 0.91 the file is no longer being appended, instead the
file is being overwritten.

Hello
Neale,
I
don't know if my earlier email reached you, so I will ask
here.
Do you
have access to a s390, or do you use Hercules emulator?
I'm
curious, what does one need to get mono up and running on
s390?

Sounds like you don't have the assembly in your search path.

The namespace has indeed changed from bytefx 0.75 to 0.76, so you'll have to
change the source I guess...

This may be a dumb question, but why would Xheo have pInvoke issues when it

why pInvoke calls would be used in that instance. Is their license

Try grabbing the http://go-mono.com/daily/mono-latest.tar.gz in the
first instance. This will have all of the updates since the Beta 1
release.

Ok, I got it solved with help of #mono ppl.
I had to add ByteFX.Data.dll (0.75) and SharpZip lib to gac manually,
after that it started to work. 0.76 doesn't do the trick though, seems
like namespaces in ByteFX.MySqlClient had changed - I hope it will be
fixed in next beta.

Yes, I know that, but there's no such file ByteFX
0.76 is the latest and has been given to the gang for inclusion in the
next release. There were *MANY* bug fixes between 0.75 and 0.76 so you

You need to install mod_mono and xsp, but beyond that the web services
work essentially the same as under IIS with the .asmx files.

There are example .asmx files in the xsp samples.
