Thanks Edward, I do mostly desktop application which rely on Gtk I didn't think about other Mono applications. I love Slackware but stopped using it due to frustration with using Monodevelop in the environment that Pat prefers, but that may have changed in recent years. Andy --

You can try this http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.1/development/monodevelop/ the big issue with Slackware is the lack of Gnome which Monodevelop has historically used very heavily. This can cause a large amount of missing dependency issues. I hope this helps SpoodyGoon --
