I don't know Visual.Net support status on Mono, but you can try running
your application by typing in a console "mono myapp.exe".
Then you will be able to see error messages.

I install libgdiplus-1.1.8 OK, ran the ./configure --prefix=/usr in
mono-1.1.8.3 without problem, but the make fails with :

Sorry for the long post...
Yesterday Monodevelop from a binary installation of Mono 1.1.6 was
running smoothly. Today it is not anymore.
Below are the lines I get after having started Monodevelop from the
command line. Here I try to open the main file of my solution, and MD
crashes right aft
I made some progress: if I type myself the compilation line, it's
working fine. But for a reason I cannot find, Monodevelop doesn't want
to compile/run anymore by itself...
Do I need to change an option in MD for it to rewrite Makefiles ?
