try installing the Red Carpet software for Suse 9.1, then subscribe to
the mono channel, and install the mono 1.0 packages this way... this

since yesterday I have been trying to download Mono 1.0 for SuSE 9.1
from www.mono-project.com ... but I have not succeeded yet.
I am able to get to the overall download page where I have to select
the OS for which I would like to download packages. If I select SuSE
9.1, nothing happens
