Hi there,
I'm having a little trouble installing Gtk# 0.7 out of the RPMs from
gtk-sharp.sourceforge.net, using Suse 8.1 (with an updated KDE 3.1).
When I'm trying to install the RPM, I get the message libgnomedb is

Hi,
I am trying to install GTK-sharp-0.7 but when I do the [make] command,
somewhere along the process I get the following error:
make -C gconf
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/gtk-sharp-0.7/sample/gconf'
mcs /out:sample.exe Settings.cs main.cs /r:../../glib/glib-sharp.dll
/r:../../
Hi all,
Is it possible to run gtk-sharp without a garbage collection enabled, I
have still not been able to install the garbage collector. Mono complains
about GCHandles when I run a gtk-sharp program, and they used to work before

That would make things easier for a lot of people.
Ant apt-rpm repository for mono/mcs/mbas/gtksharp/qtsharp would be all good.

Hi there,
| Libgnomedb is part of Suse 8.1 disks. Just search for the package.
no, it's not part of it (at least on my disks I can't find it). There
only exists gnome-db, but this seems to be something different.
Greetings,

| ftp://ftp.gnome-db.org/pub/gnome-db/sources/v0.10.0/
I did so and downloaded all the needed files, now I'm still getting some
error messages when trying to install:

Hi
| the problem is that you have gnome-db package, which is the very old
| version of the gnome-db project. This is all now obsolete, so just
| remove the old libgda/gnome-db and install libgda/libgnomedb/mergeant
| 0.10, which is the latest.
thanks
