If I start a new project in Xamarin Studio, change the project compiler to Mono/.NET 4.5, add a package reference to Microsoft.TPL.Dataflow (a PCL), and then try to use anything from that reference, I get parser errors like the following:
“Parser Error: The type ‘Object’ is required here and is unavailable. You must add a reference to assembly ’System.Runtime, Version=4.0.0.0, …" The code builds and runs fine on mono 4.0.1 since System.Object is in mscorlib, it just seems that the IDE is confused.
