Hi,
I have been trying to work out the best way to layout my navigation through my
application, I hit a number of issues on the way, here is a mock up of what I
am trying to achieve.

Type.GUID seems to return guid.empty on Monotouch.
I found this...

I just want a way to store a hash of our ORM schema to check whether the
database need to be updated. Does anyone have any bright ideas how to do this.
Sender's remorse. I noticed that I was passing an incorrect parameter. Fixed.

I'll be interested to see how the marketplace accepts the new MS hardware just

Hi folks. I'm looking for a little bit of coding help. Basically, I'm trying
to add a UIDatePicker to a UIPopOever and then display the popover. I've
started with this SO example. Unfortunately, I'm getting the dreaded null
reference exception. Unfortunately, I'm not getting an error. I'v
Hi Gerry,
I like the sound of that. I don't use IB though. (It seems like there's
always stuff that I have to do programmatically, and when I move back and
forth between IB things get screwed up in ways that I'm not good enough yet
to fix, so I just stopped trying to use IB for anything. It's bee
Today's update indeed fixed this bug, confirmed on my tutorial app. Thank you

Yeah - I think my HP had both, with the option to turn off the touchpad so that
it wasn't triggered by errant thumbs/palms of your hand resting on it as you
typed. I'd have been happier to pay less and not have the touchpad, but I can

Nic and I completely agree that options are important. I've always hated the
the big tech company viewpoint of "we'll never license anyone else's cool
idea." If Apple did, then we'd have the option of a pointing stick on macs. I
find many of their viewpoints very short sighted and arrogant.

I'm with you there. I hate touchpads with a passion. I also grew up with the
pointing stick and was one of my main reasons for getting a certain HP a few

People are weird (you and me included).
I _hate_ the pointing stick things. RSI inside 30 seconds.
I tolerate trackpads (external better than internal). I prefer mice,
at the moment, the Magic mouse.

Not silly at all. I use Bootcamp on my MBP for Windows development. I'm just
a pointing stick snob. For me, that's a major issue. I don't like laptops

not the biggest fan. I realize for others, its not a big dea
