various "major" auctions held in Europe going back to the early 90s. I
would guess that most of the images in these catalogues have been retouched
and rarely if ever indicate the real condition of the poster. Foldlines are

I really wish Bruce would start doing his auction
catalogues more like Heritage does. More like he used to do years
ago. Since they serve a dual purpose for him (as both an auction catalogue
and as a reference/coffee-table book), there should be more info in them.

OK, I happen to be a digital photo expert -- I don't just play one on
the internet -- I've been working with digital images and making my livelihood
with them since 1985, when full-color photo-realistic images were only available
