My first reaction as well was Mole Men. But also I started wondering about the photo insert - certainly no giant spider in Mole Men. But then again, no way a Mexican Lobby expert so not sure how the b&w photo reflected the film itself. And the "ray" may well be reflecting the vacuum celaner ray gun
