Hi MoPo, I'm a huge Abbott & Costello and 50's sci-fi fan. Two of my favorite movies are A&C meet Frankenstein and Creature from the Black Lagoon. My favorite movie posters are: 1. A&C meet frank INSERT, TC and the lobby scene card with the boy's, Drac, and Frank in the cellar. 2. CFTBL IN
Hi modern poster collectors,
I usually buy older posters, but found a Pulp Fiction advance one-sheet at a
sale. It is not the one with the Lucky Strike pack. Can anyone out there
tell me about the variations in PF advance os and how to tell if it is
authentic.
This poster was one of about a doz
Yes, Evan, you are exactly correct. Everyone in this hobby who knows me
knows that I don't have a collection. That was a decision I made
a long time ago: not to both deal and collect posters. It has been a
sound
decision for me. While I love the material and get to see plenty of

I have always loved this epic story! I read it in school and I read
it on my own. I watched it every chance I got on television growing
up.
This is such a FANTASTIC poster, how very lucky you are to have this in
your possession.
Thanks for sharing its' color and beauty with
us.

can't bring yourself to part with it.
I would have to say that my favorite poster is the "Holiday Inn" one sheet that Morrie gave me for Christmas. Since that movie is right up there at the top of my favorite movie list (my dream house would look like a smaller version of the Inn!!) , receiving the one sheet was a real treat. Diana E
OH MAN... Very Tough Decision..
I'd have to go with my Invasion of the Saucer-Men one sheet which is in
beautiful condition with nice white paper. It's a gorgeous image and a
great example of 50's SciFi. I sold my Forbidden Planet one sheet in order
to buy this which was my favorite at the time.
Has this ever happened to you: an item on ebay has a buy-it-now price, yet you bid early with a minimum bid, but you end up paying more than the orig buy-it-now price 6/7 days later.
As a seller, have you ever gotten more than the buy-it now price?
I ask because i have a Mariyin Monroe insert
Hi to all,
I have a few favorites--one of which is an original 1932 US 1/2
Sheet on "Scarface" with Paul Munialso, an original US one sheet from a
1917 silent film called "Teddy At The Throttle", starring Gloria Swanson (her
1st film) and Wallace Beery (his 2nd). I started collecting
I have to tune in on the theme,
Warner Bros had a very unique style that you "couldn't miss"
during, at least, the 50's. I think my favorite because of the gorgeous
earth colors and WB style is THE SEARCHERS. However, as a studio,
I think WB had the most "together" graphic of the
time.Man
I don't think that this really counts. Any poster thats "for sale" -- is
frankly not part of your collection. Its part of your inventory.
My "Crimson Pirate" poster is part of my collection -- and one of my favorites.

Mine is my Friday the 13th US one-sheet. Not the
most valuable poster in the world, but it's been signed by about 10 cast and
crew members, and holds a special place in my heart. I've got about 2-3
more sigs to get on it and then I'm going to have it backed and
framed.
Cheers,

Freeman,
Is it possible you have the international version? In that case, there would be no NSS info. I assume it has the Warners logo.

Best guess is that the non-NSS version is a studio poster or an
international prepped with a snipe, or used domestically.
And HONDO predates the usual ratings box which would be the point of
explanation for your disgruntled client.
