Just heard the news that the original Creature From the Black Lagoon, Ben
Chapman, passed away this morning. Another monster great taken away.

yes, may he rest in peace.
remember, tho, that Ben Chapman, was only one part of the Creature
team. Ricou Browning, who played the Creature in all the underwater
sequences, is still alive and well. Chapman wore the creature suit
for all of the film sequences shot on land only.

COMFORT OF STRANGERS (1990) got a great French poster designed by Bob Peak,
which is a homage to the painter Gustav Klimt.
The normal American one sheet is not the Bob Peak art.
I have been trying to find out if there was an international style of one sheet
with the Bob Peak art. I
Hi All - Has anybody ever had trouble removing the Adult Entertainment
stickers from posters during the linenbacking process or is it a cert that they
will peel off causing no surface damage? Thanks! Neil

I'm guessing you're referring to the Canadian paper snipes that are about
2x12. These were stuck on the posters using water soluble paste and will
usually come off using a slightly dampened cloth and carefully wetting them.
