I have inserts/half sheets on linen and paper. Some of these posters on linen
are just a mess. And my guess is these were backed by someone who didn't know
what they were doing. One of these poorly back posters is a Belle Starr insert
that is coming off the linen, and is so fragile I

Hmmm... quite a bit of the linen vs. paper backing discussion has
focused on card stock posters like inserts and half-sheets and their
rollability. It seems we are all forgetting that until the studios
started using much thinner stock paper for inserts and halfsheets (in
what, the 1980's?)
Some collectors have experienced difficulty opening my eMails which often
contained many links. Consequently, I am only including a single link in this

I blew mine all up, too. With firecrackers.
And burned all my G.I. Joes to make them into melting monsters.
My mother thought I was going to grow up to be a serial killer. She was greatly
relieved when I veered onto the Meteorology career path instead.
