From what I am hearing, that is not accurate. IF Cinevent is able to lock-up
a new location in downtown Columbus, it will have both classic screenings
AND a dealer’s room as always. As I receive more info from the local
Cinevent people I will pass it along.

That’s not fair… time will tell… the Columbus people deserve some benefit

From what I gather posters and paper will be in Cleveland - films and projector
stuff in Columbus.

It's totally fair. I'm not interested in seeing the movies, so I'll base my
decision about which show I 'll attend upon which movie poster dealers are in
Columbus and which are planning to be in Cleveland. I also want to attend
Morrie's auction. Hence Cleveland has the edge for me.

You are right Scott.
This was posted by Michael Haynes of Cinevent, to one of the other
poster forums just last night:
To clarify where things stand with Cinevent, here is some additional
information. As some of you may have heard, the hotel we have used in
the past has closed, at least

I think you are misinterpreting Franc’s comment. I believe he means there
may be a dealers rooms at both events but Morrie’s event may only have
posters and Cinevent’s may only have films. At least that’s what I think he
means and that is where the confusion lies: Cinevent may have a
Cinevent still plans on having a dealers room..
I'll be at both events I think

You absolutely have the right to attend any show you want, and if you think the
Cleveland Show is more suited to your likes, that perfect. Go for it. I just
thought that the way you phrased it was a little disrespectful to the people
who put up a heck of a show for decades!.

You are wrong, Dave. He says that Cinevent may have dealers, but will they
be up to standard? Read the thread again.

Not at all what I said, Zeev . Glad most understood my post. If there are going
to be a variety of movie poster dealers at both shows , I may wind up at both
shows. If however they mostly decide to do the Cleveland show and not Columbus,
I'll skip Columbus.

The issue is what's in the dealer's room.

that is not correct.
Cinevent still plans on having dealers and movies. They've been
working on getting a hotel and the Columbus Convention Bureau has
been helping them and they're trying to figure out the best option
This doesn't surprise me as they're doing the same thing that any
