when they checkout. It’s a bit difficult to find how to do it but I only sell
fixed price items and it generally works for me.

For me, it is specifically for the Buy Now purchases. The buyer must pay
instantly and includes shipping. So, multiple Buy Now purchases generate a
shipping fee for each purchase. Then, I must refund the extra shipping
fees.

I also just had a situation where someone made an offer, I accepted it and he
didn't pay immediately. Turns out until he pays for the item, it doesn't
belong to him
and it is still available in my store for someone else to come in a purchase.
