Paul Scofield's obit was in the NYT today. He has passed on March 19,
in England, of leukemia.
In 1967, I think everybody that loved films thought that he and Fred
Zinnemann and Robert Bolt
had finally done Henry VIII justice.
I am sorry to note his death here.

Kirby, I could not agree more! He also was superb in "The Train", a great
movie not well remembered, and he was strong in "Quiz Show" as well. He
could have had a major film career, but he much preferred the stage.
