Was anyone actually hurt (other than pride) that Julie Andrews was not offered
the role in the film version of My Fair Lady? Had she been offered that part,
Disney would never have scene her in Camelot and offered her the lead in Mary
Poppins. Nor would she have been offered the role of Maria in The Sound of
Music. Everyone/thing worked out well. Audrey Hepburn earned big bucks,
Harrison and Andrews won Oscars and My Fair Lady was a big hit.
