Another great TV one was on the TV series version of "Alien Nation" (you
have to see it to see what made it great).
A great real-life auction experience was in my Rock, Pop & Classic auction
at Christie's Los Angeles. The same man won just about EVERY lot for the
first 30 or so lots, and of course
the funniest auction was an one on the original Dick Van Dyke Show where
every movement of Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) was perceived as a bid.
Hilarious.
in movies..my favorite was the auction scene in NORTH BY NORTWEST.
& the other night i watched ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, where Bog
