And hopefully by the time those five years happened, you wisely invested that
money in inventory you turned over many times - giving you a much great
Interesting discussion.
I have some Mexican lobby cards, mostly from Karloff's last quartet of
films. But doesn't that make sense because of the "country of origin?"

The problem with the Mexican lobby cards is that there so many of them,
and there are more coming every day across the border, most of them
illegally. Many of the cards are guided across the border by "Coyotes",
for a hefty fee, and often arrive in this country in terrible shape. As

I think the Mexican lobby cards have as much validity as many film
posters that are out there. I don't see any reason why they should be
specially singled out for exile!

Rick,
Aw, c'mon... some of the Mexican paper is really quite spectacular -- a
fair amount of it has striking, unique imagery you don't find anywhere
else. Ever take a look at the Mexican lobby cards for the original
release of the 1953 WAR OF THE WORLDS? Far better than the bland U.S. set.

When I first got back into collecting in the early 1990s, there was some
sort of consideration for a nanosecond that Mexican lobby cards were
going to be the Next Big Trend in our little hobby. Rick may have been
caught up in that moment. They ended up being the Beanie Babies of the
