Jackie Cooper is gone! 88 years old. Teriffic child actor, excellent older
actor, tv star producer (2 series of his own in the 50s--Hennesy The
People's Choice) and first-class director of many, many television
episodes --- MASH and others. ).
Jackie Cooper still holds the record
urk, that's bad news, a great/interesting career/life tho. i'm thinking that,
other than Shirley Temple Mickey Rooney and (due to her insane longevity)
Luise Rainer we're pretty much done for re: 'majorly significant' 1930s actors,
aren't we?nPS i just realised that Nova Plibeam is still
1930's era actors still alive:
Olivia de Havilland
Joan Fontaine
Maureen O'Hara
Anne Rutherford
Deanna Durbin
Dickie Moore
Jane Withers
Nanette Fabray
June Lockhart
I'm not saying who exactly is majorly significant.
