Hello Folks- well my client TED MCLAREN - won ' Best of Show" in Detroit yesterday

It was held in GrossePoint Michigan on the Lake at The Edsel FORD home.

The show benifited the Detroit Insitute of Opthamology and Teds donated print sold for 500.00

The sponcer was B.A.S.F. a German company. They stopped by Teds booth and bought several prints

alsong with the President of The UAW who also ordered images.

The prestigous Automobile Art association's president stopped by and asked Ted to visit him in Farmington and I suspect they will invite him to be part of this by invite only group.

The painting that won was a Pink Caddy..

Whats special about Teds work is that its on Large Canvas and the work is almost photo realistic,

yet when you close examine.. its all painted and apparent its a painting. He also does scenes withing the

painting and his southwest art can be seen as reflections in the chrome of the cars..

If you like Cars.... and if you like Art that is on the scale of the best movie poster artist like Drew

and the other greats, Teds work is up there with them...

If you know of a Movie company that needs a artist... heres a great opportunity to get old school painting

Teds background in commercial packaging design and his grasp of all genres and media mke him

a talent to be rekoned with.

Ted is 67 years old, and his house is like a multi media art mecca.. for instance the dineing table is

made from a 150 yr old barn door .. his studio has a floor of teakwood and is all nautical themed

( ted is a avid sailboater) His work is all over the house and he has done many genres of paintings.

The Auto period started with a ford mustang car that he still owns.

Would you like a super special original work for your house or Office with that scene you envision?

Ted can interpet it on canvas . As you know these will be limited , and as we plan to do the Vegas Artex

in Las vegas in Sept 2008 Once the word gets out and people see this hidden artist Im sure he will

be booked up and also Art speculators take note... If you could have bought a Amsel or a Peak

before tey were known ... wouldnt that be a thrill and great investment? Imagine a Hollywood

scene in paint... with cars... and more..

Teds originals are in the 5-15k range Prints are in the 300-500 range

best, Tom 419-474-3065
