Hi Folks
I forgot to add the link to my consignments page
http://www.movieposterbid.com/consignments.asp
But also, let me add to my previous post
DON'T LET OTHER AUCTIONS FOOL YOU
MoviePosterBid.com gets competitive prices and will absolutely sell
your posters faster than other auctions, even with large consignments
I have experience with that other auction and I can tell you about
things from my own consignment that were considerably less than
satisfactory in both time factor and prices realized. That auction's
high consignment rates of as much as 75% obliterated any value to me,
and the auction didn't even open up the box I had shipped to them for
almost 5 months!!
I could have sold the 500+ items enclosed and been finished with my
consignor paid before that auction even opened my box.
Then they misidentified valuable stills so they sold for nothing and
to top it all off, they mishandled part of my consignment and sold it
with someone else's consignment. Had I not seen the item to report
that the description was false, they would not have known they were
selling my property as someone else's and I would never have been paid.
IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR?
I SAY NOT
I posted all about this last year right here on MoPo and here is the post
http://www.mail-archive.com/mopo-l@listserv.american.edu/msg51725.html
I was very fair to this competitor and you can have no doubt that
quite a number of praises I heaped on them I would not today, because
a number of my praises are no longer true. But one thing is true: I
would never consign anything to that auction again!
Don't be fooled by Carnival Barkers trying to rope you in. Their
intention is to make money for them and they will tell you stories of
treasure to be had, but they don't tell you the treasure goes in
their pocket, not yours!
In a world where more than 50% of everything my competitor auctions
goes for less than $15.00, you have to ask yourself..
"Do I want 50% of my collection sold for nothing and then have the
seller take 75% of my sales?"
MoviePosterBid.com will sell your collection fast and charge you less
than that other auction.
