All movies "date." Duh. More than likely, he or she is less an idiot than
just young. Young people are often
unable to see a film with a sense of context as to its time.
Conversely, older viewers are sometimes unable to appreciate what makes a film
popular with younger people.
We are all of
nearly half his list is populated with 1940s best pictures, and while i'm
not one to put too much weight on awards, 'rebecca' and 'the lost weekend'
have firmly stood on their own since their releases.
