Whatever your thoughts Michael Winner was a man to respect he made some good
films as well as a few turkeys.
He had some opinions that you either agreed with or not, I liked him because he
was outspoken as well as plain spoken.
Winner had a great friendship with Oliver Reed and Charles Bronson and made the
latter into the box office actor at the time with many movies that Tarantino is
now paying homage to as well as many remakes on the cinema screen.
Hannibal Brooks was one of my favourites...Winner would never be up for Oscars
as best director or for best film but he did bring entertainment and most of
his work you had to have a beer and a pizza with but they were made never to be
taken seriously.
This never happened to the other fella...
