MoviePosterBid.com March Vintage Poster Auction Ends Soon
There are only a couple days left before this auction ends and the
number of great poster at great bargain prices is astounding.
The Superman (1948) 3-Sheet unbelievably is still under $100. and I
am at a loss for words. Yes the poster is restored, but you would
spend up to $10,000 for an unrestored copy of this great poster.
There is also a Spanish language 1sheet for the film. The auction
also includes a number of classic science fiction & horror items like
Blood of Dracula 1sh, 2001: A Space Odyssey 40x60, Phantom From Space
1sh, Cry of the Banshee, Black Magic, the Corpse Grinders and others.
There are some nice lobby cards including the group shot of Karloff,
Price, Lorre & Rathbone from Comdey of Terrors, a title card from
Saps at Sea (1946R) with Laurel and Hardy and a card from Val
Lewton's Isle of the Dead with Karloff and Tom mix in 1920's the
Untamed. There are loads of 3 sheets from the 40s-70s including Deep
in the Heart of Texas (1942) with a cool giant image of Tex Ritter
with Johnny Mack Brown and there are dozens of French 47x63 led by
Magnificent Seven with art by Boris Grinsson and others with art by
Belinsky. Tom mix in 1920s the Untamed.
There is a fantastic Full Metal Jacket 40x50 and at this size the
image is impressive, Italian posters including Gone With the Wind
1968R, Kagemusha and Fisher King and there are a number of John Wayne
window cards as well as a couple John Wayne lots, one with a Rio
Grande half sheet
Belgian posters for Human Desire, the Old Dark House with Karloff.
For Hitchcock fans there are several items including a scarce window
card for the Trouble With Harry and a one sheet for the Wrong Man.
Movie magazines, hardcover Photoplay Editions, rolled modern era one
sheets and much more.
Also, this auction has nearly 500 items in 480 listings, my largest
offering ever and some 150 of them are still at just $1.00
