I would recommend Mr. Putter and Tabby series, Nate the Great series, Henry
and Mudge, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie series, Robert Munsch books are
great, Fly Guy, the "Parts" series by Tedd Arnold, Kevin Henkes books, and
of course Clifford.

The Elephant and Piggie series by Mo Willemstad is a winner. My kids love
these and they are great for practicing reading expression.

How about Mo William books….. Pig and Elephant books and his Pigeon books.
