Good morning! It is a dreary, spring morning here in Iowa....A good day to
gather thoughts from anyone who has read and willing to share their reactions
to Nancie Atwell's, Reading Zone...I am having trouble with the lack of
research sighted in her book on teaching comprehension strategies based on
Ronald Carver's research from 1987....seems very contradictory to what we've
read in Mosaic?? Thanks of your professional thoughts...I can be reached at
adamst...@pleasval.k12.ia.us if you prefer...have a great day!

Good afternoon, I was wondering if any of you has a list of great 3rd-5th grade
children's books organized by genres. Or if you know a website that has one. I
was informed today that If I want the school to buy these books, the list needs
to be ready by tomorrow. Thank you.
