My class has learned so much from Circuit. It's the true story of a migrant
family in Calif. In the 1900s. They also loved Esperanza Rising by Pam Ryan
Muñoz. It is set in the 1800s. Both are great for discussion.

Our school implemented Daily 5/CAFÉ this year from Prep to year 7 and the
majority of teachers are saying that they have seen significant
improvement in their students reading/writing. It is definitely worth
implementing.

I started using the Daily 5 last year and I love it! The kids are reading at
their comfort level and I am working with small groups at the same time.

I use the Daily 5 and love it! It's authentic use of everyone 's time and a
great way to make the most of when you're with a small group. It takes a lot of
patience/modeling in the beginning. Don't skimp or you'll regret it!
