I use my own version of CAFÉ and Reader's Workshop and I conferred with my
kids about their CAFÉ strategies while my other students are reading. I'm
able to either pull individuals to meet or small groups.

I teach fourth grade. I read somewhere (not sure where) that the sisters
recommend 3-5 teachers only doing 3 of the 5 rotations and that it is a
personal program that you should modify to fit your students' needs.
Thanks for sharing. I was moved to a new building this year and didn't do
Cafe for various reasons. That was a mistake. I am definitely going back
to it next year. Great structure for myself and the kids.
