their Benchmark reading system and their LLI system. They have a K-2 book and a

First Steps out of Western Australia had great parent resources. I
don't know if that is still published in this country and whether it
has been changed over the years. The parent resource had just the
sort of description you are looking for. There were also suggestions
for parents
I second Mary's request for information concerning the actual use of F
P's continuums. I would appreciate any real research to practice
advice on this. So far, I honestly have not found their continuums as
helpful as claimed and think I must be missing something as they are

website. They have a book specifically concerning reading and writing
continuums.
