I have installed the incremental giza software but there are some
problems when I run it.
I have a trained model on 1M sentences and I intend to incrementally
update the model using a batch of 4000 sentences. But when I run GIZA++
it is giving some weird memory error.

You run it like this:
./multi-bleu.perl ref-file(s) < mt-output
It accepts text files, which should be tokenised.
If the file is not executable then use chmod.
The scores will not be the same as mteval, because of tokenisation
differences,
