As far as I can tell, filter-model-given-input.pl can't handle input in
lattice format. It finds no matches and the filtered table contains no
entries. Has anyone worked on this?

I've occasionally had the reuse-weights.pl script eat a weight or two,
so if you call that script after tuning, check its output to see if
it's spitting
