On April 9 Chuck Krulas and I were looking in a cow pen for Brewer's =
Blackbird when we both heard the Coo-C
The mountain bluebird found by Erika in Kandiyohi co. was seen yesterday
until about sunset, by myself, and was seen again this morning (Fri.) at
7:00 a.m. by Ron Erpelding.
If you are coming from the east, after mile marker 81 there is an Adopt a
Highway sign "Jenie O Foods" as a good landmark.
We saw a Mountain Bluebird, male, bright blue above, paler blue below, along
Highway 12, about 0.3 mile east of MM80 which is just east of the town of
Kandiyohi. Fortunately it was sitting out on a utility wire on a sweeping
curve in the road, facing outward, so we picked up the blue breast right
