Recently seen has been updated with a photo of the Common Ground-Dove =
seen in Lake county.
The 19 October 2004 Common Loon survey on Mille Lacs produced a total
of 1545 birds in eight hours -- a typical number for this time of
year, or perhaps even a bit low. A heavy fog in the middle of the

This morning Leslie Marcus, Doug Kieser and I refound the Common Ground-Dove at
11:00 am in Lake Co. It was seen along Mn Hwy 61, just south of mile marker #
48 on the lakeside. There is a blue sign with three fire numbers on it 4288,
4292, and 4268 on the right. There is a gravel driveway
Was the nutcracker seen Tuesday? Would like to make the trip if so.
