In Sax-Zim Bog in St. Louis County at the following locations: * 1 seen about a mile to a mile and a half south of the greenhouse on Hwy 7 on the east side of the road. * 1 seen 1.3 miles west of Hwy7 on Hwy 133 on the north side of the road. Chris

Howdy All, I observed a 30 - 50 bird flock of Snow Buntings in Rochester today near the Northern Hills Tallgrass Prairie. It was fun to see a beautiful sign of winter. One of my students said how they liked them because they were not "wussy" birds, like the ones that go south for the winter
