covered with ice as of Wednesday (March 30). Any day they should break up.

This morning at Lake Byllesby in Dakota County there were 5 American White
Pelican's, 3 Common Loons, Double-crested Cormorant's, Pied-billed Grebe's, and
a few Tree Swallow's with a good variety of ducks.
In Rosemount at the 140th St Marsh there were Wilson's Snipe probing in the

127th street. There have been Northern Shrikes in this general area a few
weeks ago, but this was the only Shrike I saw today. Last summer I observed

Al Batt and I birded Waseca County today from 8:15-1:45. Missed a few which
must have been there, but did find 58 species. That included:
