For those interested. . .I have posted photos taken this past weekend in
Monticello of the Trumpeter Swans. I also have a
Birded Itasca & Koochiching counties 2/18-2/20 w/John & Chris Hockema, Ben
Fritchman, Jeff Stephenson, and Dedrick Benz. We found 36 species
including:

Wood Lake Nature Center in Richfield has asked the MOU help in it s
search for someone to do Bird Banding for their Wild Bird Festival the
weekend of May 13th. It would be a great addition to this event and they
have some promising areas to put up net lanes. Please if interested,
