I birded several hours this morning(8-11) at Carver Park with some success
with migrants.

There were three other probable warblers that may have also been migrants.

Dave Grosshuesch reported an immature/female Lark Bunting at Split
Rock Lighthouse State Park on Saturday afternoon. It was seen on the
lawn and rocks directly in front of the lighthouse. Sharon Lind and
I looked for the bird yesterday evening for about an hour, without
success.

Found a Carolina Wren in Courthouse Park today. Best description of
directions is in south central part of the park along the stream. Good
numbers of migrant warblers were also found but not spread out much as most
were in only two or three waves. Listened for chickadees and when found

This afternoon there were 13 Red-necked Phalaropes present at the Lake
Lillian sewage ponds in southeastern Kandiyohi County. They were on the
more easterly of the 2 ponds - water level in this pond is quite low,
providing decent shorebird habitat. There were 12 species here today.
