This morning from 11:45 am - 12:30pm I enjoyed nice close looks at the Lesser
Black-backed Gull at the Purgatory Creek Wetlands off of PrairieCenter Drive in
Eden Prairie, Hennepin County. The wetlands to the east

We had another visit by a Carolina Wren today. During lunch my wife
spotted it first, she has a good view of an old branch we have
fastened to the deck that once housed Downy Woodpecker nests. The
wren was exploring the various cavities. It also visited our feeders,
worm dishes, and water

lakefronts (Superior Michigan) in the fall winter has yielded one of two
